i’ve been making Cookie Clicker for over 7 years and i’ve learned a lot in that time - the pixel art on the new cookies is a lot more lavish than on the old ones, and the programming is a lot of clean new code bolted onto ancient infrastructure written back when i’d just started using indentation, but it’s especially evident when i look at the newest upgrades whose flavor text is 20 lines of convoluted lore with careful use of verbal flourish, while most of the flavor text in the original content from 2013 is just “wow, a cookie!”
